Thank you to everyone who visited our stall at village fete last week. This year the event was in a new location on the playing field next to the village center. Visitors really enjoyed our activities which included Hook a duck, tin can alley and the essential marshmallows (we are scouts)
The event was a great opportunity for us to meet with the village community beyond our own group.
Our stall was able to raise some much needed funds. These funds will go towards upkeep of our hall and to help enrich our weekly meetings.
Our next fundraising event will be on Saturday 19 September at our Scout hall. Full details will be revealed soon. But as a sneak peek, Bingo is coming home, even if sadly the football isn’t
