Personal Details
This is how you keep your child’s details up-to-date on the system. Please make sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and update all fields.
Programme
Here you can view the information about our weekly section meetings. You can also inform us if your child isn’t able to attend a meeting.
You may see some meetings have a yellow badge (similar to this) with the option to sign up to help out that night! here is no requirement to have any prior experience in Scouting, nor any expectation to help out every week. Any contribution no matter how big or small is appreciated and hugely valued.
Events
This lets you view any upcoming events (camps, trips, activities etc.) that your child can sign up for.
If all the event details are finalised they will be open to sign-ups. If we’re still working on finalising the details we may show you the event without letting you sign up to allow you to save the date.
Some events have limited capacity, places are usually allocated on a first come first served basis. Once all the spaces are filled if you try to sign-up, you’ll be added to the “Reserve” list. If a space later becomes available then the leadership team will contact those on the Reserve list and offer the space (this to is usually done on first come first serve basis).
Where an event is open for sign-ups, please try to respond Yes or No as soon as you can. Not only does it prevent our software bombarding you with emails, it also helps us hugely with the planning process by allowing us to gauge roughly how many Scouts we are likely to be accommodating.
Badges
This lets you view all the badges your child has completed or has started. It will also show the breakdown of what they have completed for each badge. It can also show you where to sew the badges on your child’s uniform
Badges at Home
Badges don’t have to be completed at our meetings or events! If your child is keen to earn a badge, or has hobbies that overlap with some of our badges, you can upload evidence against the badge criteria for your child’s leaders to sign off.
Gift Aid
As a charity we are able to claim gift aid on any donations (including your membership subscriptions) you make to us. This is a fantastic fundraiser for the group so please do sign up if you are able to.
